KNX/DALI gateway SCN-DA641.04, 1 x 64 ECG

The MDT SCN-DA641.04 is a KNX/DALI gateway used as an interface between the KNX bus and the DALI bus. It allows DALI luminaires to be controlled, switched and dimmed from a KNX installation.

The model provides one DALI output for individual control of up to 64 electronic ballasts and 16 DALI groups. It supports DALI and DALI-2 standards, as well as DT6 and DT8 electronic ballasts.

The gateway supports HSV, RGB, RGBW and XY colour control as well as Tunable White. An integrated colour control module also allows the lighting colour to be controlled over time, with up to 300 steps.

Several operating modes are available: normal, permanent, night, staircase, panic and manual. The device also supports 16 scenes with individual dimming times, detection of lamp and ballast failures, and quick replacement of electronic ballasts.

Commissioning is carried out from ETS 5, with a free DCA app for configuring the DALI bus, scenes and synchronisation.
